Website Progress

The website is almost finished now, except for the following:

(Email sent to customer)
Hi Shell,
Ok the website's pretty much ready now, just a few things to be supplied by yourselves. They are as follows:

Photos
  • Photo of the front of the building if possible for the About Us page.
  • 5 Photos of the pre-school room. The photos that are on your existing website unfortunately aren't good enough quality. The ones you gave me all seem to be outside.
  • Group Staff Photo.
  • Photos of David, you and Bev.
  • I've added stock photos on the Fees page and Nutrition page. I'm really pleased with these but if you can check to make sure you like them.

Other
  • A sample menu. I'll put it on the nutrition page (I'll add it to the PDF too so it can be printed off).
  • Please check through all the text to make sure it's right so I can produce the PDFs.
  • When will the next newsletter be coming out?

Option
  • At the moment I've got the room photos all opening into separate pages showing a larger image. I could change it so they all open into pages that look like the website and so you can click on 'previous' and 'next' etc but this will mean about 24 more pages on your website. I will do this for an extra £100 if you want to go ahead. It's not necessary but would look better. It's up to you :-)
Give me a call on XXXXX XXXXXX or email me back if there's anything you want to clear up or ask me. Otherwise I'll wait for you to get in touch when you've got everything together. Once you have it should only take a matter of days for the website to be finished completely!

Kindest regards
Joanna

Here are screen shots of how it looks so far :

Once I receive the remaining items from Stepping Stones, the site should be ready in a matter of days. When they have approved the completion, I will do the work behind the scenes : putting ALT text in all the images and complete the tags that are relevant to the search engines (description, title and key words). Finally I will need to pass a code onto the previous host and ask them to point it to my host, then I'll need to rename and move all the files. Then that will be it!
